The Fruit of Love, Intention & Attention

Be patient and in wonder as things unfold and come across your path. Look for allegory. Look for symbolism. Look for metaphor in all things in which you endeavor to take part. Be delighted and find the fruit that is born all around you at all times of day and night. It is ripe for the picking when you, the student, is ready. It becomes instantaneously ripe the moment understanding strikes. Instantaneously.

Endeavor to follow your heart’s calling. See and feel where it leads you. Be joyous in the exploration. In all endeavors, seemingly simplistic or complex, seemingly deep or shallow, wide or narrow, endeavor to find what is coming up from beneath. Look in the corners, around the bend, in the depths and over the ledges. Find the little tidbits that are left waiting for your discovery. Your discovery is absolute and there for you at all times. It is not the outer world that you must change, but the internal one as you are so doing now.

Look within, be patient, allow yourself to feel the discomfort of emptiness, boredom, nothingness – nothing to do. Because there IS nothing to do but to BE. Just being and observing – discovering and interacting – take a chance! Discover! See what lingers beneath the surface. You experience one taste on first bite and then come to realize that more flavors linger as you ponder the involvement of your taste buds. Notice there is a first experience, then a second, a third, a fourth and the deeper ones are there to be discovered with your patience and increased abilities at noticing that which is beyond your current ability to perceive. Even the slightest perception outside of this moment’s perception is growth. It is the very reason you are here. This growth of perception, of experience, of allowance.

You are here to continue to perceive just outside this zone and ever expand into the wilderness of creativity that is a fire within. It is literally God given - this internal quest, this desire to expand. You are the vibration of the ages and here to experience more-ness. More love, more hope, more sensation, more depth, more breadth, more perception, more animalistic experience. It is your purpose. Why ask about purpose when it is so obvious. Your purpose is to live! To live fully, completely, from the heart using the mind to guide you gently, support you in your experience to evolve, unfold, through the enfoldment into possibility.

Be at ease in your knowing that every choice is abundant with experience. You are an abundant creature – creator. You are creating at all times. You have infinite choices at every moment. You choose to place your attention on any of an infinite menu of experience. You could live the same day over and over and over again and never live the same day twice if only you were to notice that you have the ability to place your attention at will on an infinite variety of sources. Developing yourself is strengthening this ability to place your attention at will. Place it in the areas that provide the most joy, stimulate the most curiosity, wonder and magic. Place it here and your life will be rich and full. Place it elsewhere and your life will be less for doing so. It is your choice at all times. It is YOUR choice. That is what it is to be human. To choose your inner path.

Direct your attention and consciousness where you will. And when the voice from the conscious mind interrupts with a narrative that is planted from elsewhere, notice it! Educate it! Let it know you have it’s number. Let it know that you are the one directing awareness more and more as time goes on. Let it know that you are the master and it is the servant. Let it know it is loved and appreciated, but not required in those moments when it is actually not required. Train the conscious mind to direct itself to all that is alive, robust, abundant, worthy, helpful, loving, kind, and filled with the opportunity and potential for growth. That is how to best make use of this tool bestowed upon you at your conception.

The first part of your life was to download the skills to remain alive long enough to reproduce. The next part of your life was meant to experience new and various ideas, thoughts and endeavors. This part of your life is meant to take the learnings and apply them. Wash your slate. Take the learnings that will contribute to your growth and foster them with love, intention and attention. Let the others wither for they no longer have use in the evolution of your soul and spirit. They were informative and helpful and got you to this place and time. Be in gratitude for them all. For the only reason you sit here now as you are is because of the experiences of your life.

Thank them and let them go. Let them fly away, disintegrate and re-imagine all that is left within. Like a beautiful plant, take the cuttings that are most fruitful, the seeds that are most robust and creative and special and place your love, care and attention on them. Grow those. Grow them with a sense of delight and wonder. Grow them now!
